Large-Scale Installation Course

Come and learn how to create large-scale floral installations with Charlotte, drawing on her 20 years of industry experience and extensive work on real weddings and events. Having designed and installed hundreds of large-scale pieces, Charlotte will share the techniques, mechanics, and behind-the-scenes knowledge needed to create impactful installations with confidence.

Immerse yourself in this two-day, hands-on course and develop the skills required to design, build, and install large-scale floral work. You will learn both the creative and technical elements of installation floristry, gaining a clear understanding of how these designs are planned, constructed, transported, and set up on site.

Designs you will create:

• Pedestal designs
• Broken archway
• Fireplace installation
• Suspended design

Across both days, you will gain practical experience, professional techniques, and the confidence to take on large-scale, sustainable floral installations.

Where possible, we use the best seasonal flowers, sourcing from British and local growers.

All designs are created using foam-free mechanics and sustainable techniques.

A key focus of the course is the real-world installation process. Charlotte will guide you through:

• Setting up installations on site
• Working efficiently within a time frame
• Problem-solving under pressure
• Managing common stress points on installation days

With experience from hundreds of weddings, Charlotte offers practical tips, honest insight, and solutions drawn from real-life scenarios.

There will be plenty of opportunity for questions, and if you have an upcoming project, you are welcome to discuss your plans and receive tailored advice.

This course is suitable for florists with some prior experience, including those at the beginning of their career, who want to develop confidence and practical skills in large-scale wedding and event installations.

Some larger installations will be created in small groups, depending on scale and time.
