Wedding Flowers

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How early can we/should we book our florist for our wedding?
We can take bookings up to a two years away from your date. We usually have couples book with us around 18-12 months before their wedding however we can work to a shorter time frame, as long as the date is free. We only take on a certain amount of work each weekday and weekend so if you love what we do we advise you book with us as soon as you can!
  • We love what you do, what's the process with wedding flowers?"
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming and stressful. We’re on a mission to keep the floral design part simple & fun. Check out our design process and when you are ready we look forward to hearing from you!
  • We are not local to the area for a face-to-face consultation, is that a problem?"
No, not at all! We can organise a phone call to go through the details of your day. Most of our weddings are organised through email and over the phone and we can meet up face-to-face when and if you come to the area. If you are overseas we can also liase over Zoom or email.
  • How do we book you?
We would love to be part of your wedding day! Once you have received your final proposal and you are happy to go ahead we will then ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit which is taken off the final total. Once the deposit is paid the proposal can always be changed and updated as nothing needs to be finalised until 4-6 weeks before your wedding.
  • Is there a minimum spend?
We have a minimum spend of £1500 (plus delivery and set up) for weddings that require our team on site. We also provide a delivery drop off service and collection service which has no minimum spend, which is ideal for smaller weddings where no installations are required!
  • Can we change our proposal once we have booked you?
Yes you can! Your initial proposal is often not the final one and it can be changed as much as need be. You can book us for your day even if you are not sure of numbers and designs however, please note, the final quote amount cannot be reduced by more than 10% from the original agreed upon estimate. We ask for confirmation of designs in your final meeting which takes places 4-6 weeks before the day.
  • We don't know what flowers to have, do we need to know?"
Not at all! We suggest doing some research beforehand so you know the style and different types of flowers you like but we are here to help guide and advise you in the world of flowers. We find it best if you leave the overall choice of flowers to us as this will guarantee the best blooms for your day. Of course if you have favourite or sentimental blooms then we work to ensure these flowers are included in your designs.
  • What flowers are available when we're getting married?
Have a read of our Wedding Flowers Seasonality Guide to see what is in season when you are getting married. To ensure you get the best flowers for your day it is advised to not be too restrictive with the flowers that you want. Most of our couples let us have free reign over the selection, as long as we stick to their colour scheme. This means you get the most stunning selection of seasonal flowers for your day.
  • Will you deliver our wedding flowers on the day?
Yes we will deliver all your wedding flowers the morning of your wedding, as well as setting up any large installations and table centers that you have. In your 6 week meeting we will finalise all the details of delivery. We can deliver items the day before but tend to keep the florals to the day so they are looking their best. We understand all venues have different ways of working so we respect times of entry on the day. For smaller weddings, where set up is not required, we do offer a collection or drop off service. For collection services we will package the flowers so they are all in water and they just need to be stored in a safe and cool place.
  • What happens to the flowers the day after?
All of the flowers are yours to keep. If you rented any items from us, then we can either collect them from the venue or you can drop them back off to us. Large installations often need to be cleared down by us so we will be back the following day to dismantle them. We will sort through all these details in your final meeting.
  • Do you hire items?
Yes we do. We have a large range of vases, antique bottles, lanterns, urns, archways, milk churns, pedestal stands, candleholders and bronze candlesticks to hire.
  • Do you do venue visits?
Yes we do. Once you have booked with us we can meet you at your venue to talk through the designs for your day. This tends to be most helpful if you have large installations or you are unsure of what areas to decorate and need some advice.
  • Will you replicate an image I supply to you?
Each of our designs are bespoke to you and your partner so we don't replicate designs. Leave it to us to create a design just for you!
