Floristry Courses Designed to Build Confidence and Creativity

Step into the world of floristry and discover the beauty of working with flowers — in a space that’s calm, creative, and full of inspiration.

With over 20 years of experience in the floral industry — from shop floors to hundreds of weddings and events — I’ve created a flower school that brings together everything I’ve learned, and everything I love about floristry. My approach combines structured, hands-on learning with the freedom to explore your own creative style, guiding you to build confidence and connect with flowers in a way that feels authentic and joyful.

Learn floristry with guidance shaped by 20 years in the real world — so you gain the confidence, skills, and shortcuts that only experience can give.

No fluff. No guesswork. Just real-world knowledge, thoughtfully taught.

Our classes range from seasonal workshops (think wild wreaths, vase arrangements, and hand-tied bouquets) to longer, in-depth courses for those who want to deepen their skills.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your techniques, you’ll find a warm, relaxed environment where craftsmanship, sustainability, and self-expression are at the heart of everything we do.

Come as you are, and leave with something beautiful — flowers in your hands, and confidence in your creativity.

All courses at the flower school are led by Charlotte, our founder and lead florist here at Floren, with over 20 years of experience working in all aspects of the indsutry.

Having run a successful wedding floristry business alongside a retail space, Charlotte has worked on hundreds of weddings — from intimate celebrations to large-scale installations. This real-world experience shapes everything that is taught at the school.

Alongside design and technique, courses focus on the practical realities of working as a florist: how to manage the full wedding process from initial enquiry through to installation day, how to source flowers, price work for profit, and build a business that is both creatively fulfilling and financially sustainable.

Students also benefit from honest insight into the less glamorous — but essential — parts of the job. From navigating last-minute changes and supplier issues to problem-solving on-site and handling unexpected challenges on the day, this is teaching grounded in experience, not just theory.

The aim is to equip students not just with beautiful skills, but with the confidence, knowledge, and resilience needed to work professionally in the real world.

"I've been to two of the workshops and loved them! You are able to work at your own pace and work with the most beautiful flowers! Charlotte is really knowlegeable and makes you feel relaxed and at ease. Highly recommend! And I will be back again very soon!" Jules
